B.J. Balwinor how to get ballistic:)It all started with Ivan “Ironman” Stewart’s “Super Off Road” video game. Then the NBC broadcast coverage of the longest North American off-road race, the Baja 1000. When a family friend named Michael Gaughn took BJ for a ride in a VW-powered two-seater Chenowith, he was absolutely hooked. “I remember thinking how awesome that car was. It was the coolest thing I had ever done. I couldn’t believe the stuff it was capable of. I wanted to start racing immediately,” said BJ. After watching the Chenowith Terrible’s 250 his sister Staci bought him the car. He entered the SCORE championship race series and placed 6th at the SCORE Primm race that year, and later won the “Baja in Havasu” race. More here…

Armin SchwarzWhen Armin Schwarz officially ended his career as a WRC works driver at the 2005 Rally of Australia, journalists were not able to coax a word of melancholy out of him: “I’m grateful and happy to have experienced such a wonderful life over the past two decades. But now it’s time for something new and I can’t wait.“ Indeed, Armin Schwarz had already begun his future projects: With full throttle, he initiated the Red Bull Driver Search for German-speaking junior drivers, he worked as an RTL (TV station) specialist and hatched many other plans. These plans are going exactly the way Armin himself is: goal-oriented, diligent, with endurance, competence, and an infectious enthusiasm. More here…

Mark PostRacing at speed across the desert floor, testing the ultimate endurance of man and machine versus the harsh environment that covers the earth is not for the timid at heart. In fact, off road desert racing spares no mercy on anyone, regardless of who you are. Mark Post experienced the first taste of high-speed adrenaline in 1990 and only a short time later, he put his race team, Riviera Racing, in victory lane after laboring through the challenging 1997 SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge. Not only did Riviera Racing claim the SCORE Class 1 Title, but they claimed their first overall championship win. Post and his Riviera Racing team were hungry for their next win. More here…

Armin get’s Armin! After his victory at the second leg of the SCORE offroad series at the San Felipe 250 in his class Armin Schwarz is getting team support. The first ever win of a German driver at the unlimited Buggy Class 1 in history of Baja and desert racing inspired the AMG team to start from the next race with another Class 1 Buggy. As driver is Armin Kremer, Rallye-European champ 2001 (Toyota) and Asia-Pacific-Rallye-Champ 2003 (Mitsubishi) announced. The next race, May 30th - June 1st. is the Baja 500 also”little Baja” called. Let’s see how Martin Christensen’s All German Motorsport Team performance is with 2 German drivers.
