Rebuild of Puro Offroad continues
Hola all – we did take some time out from the Puro Off Road Baja Racing Website rebuild, we real tried hard to make it for the Baja 500 SCORE desert race yet it did not work out…. bummer! Parallel to the rebuild – there was a crash at the 6th of January during the Dakar caused by malicious scripts dragged on by others we been stupid enough to give access with elevated rights on the server. At the time we just wanted to go back online for Racing news but had no time to real fix the problem. Now, being back to a regular schedule, we have the time and “ripped” the whole website apart before installing it on a brand-spanking new H.Q. Strato Performance Server provided by Brainstorm Solutions, got rid of the corrupted and rouge scripts and build up on that.For our convenience while working we open the Baja Racing Puro Offroad website but there are literally tons of posts, pages and content missing going back to 2006 that need to be copied over after “cleaning”. So take it easy please – in particular the image gallery’s need some time and will be last we do. Alone the 2007 Baja 1000 has a volume of almost 1000 images, the majority provided by our photographer, Rafael “Rafa” Carballo. About 85% of the content will be back including the phone interviews with B.J. Baldwin, Mark Miller and Martin Christensen, AGM. Feel free to get in touch if you have suggestions or critic. AND YES – WE KNOW IT LOOKS KIND OF WEIRD IN INTERNET EXPLORER – this will be fixed when all apps and features in place and tested. If you a webperson you know how difficult it is to style with standards-compliance and make it work in Internet Explorer 9at least the older ones, IE 8 supposed to be better. Get yourself a good browser like Firefox…..
