Finally! The course map for the 2009 Baja 1000 got released by SCORE Intl. Here’s some additional information for Baja racers regarding the pre running. Pre-running Opens on Friday, Nov 6 2009. Prerun begins at Race Mile 43.3 Cattle Guard 3.6 Miles South of Ojos Negros HWY 3 @ KM 39 Junction, Prerun ends West of Ojos Negros at Race Mile 636.1 Exit Course Across Open Field to HWY 3 @ KM 36, Outbound Pre-run from Start Line to Ojos Negros Only on Wednesday, Nov 18 2009 and Thursday, Nov 19 2009
Exit Course at Race Mile 36.3 and Access HWY 3 @ KM 36. To avoid dangerous two-way traffic, the following rules are mandatory: Absolutely no outbound pre-running past race mile 36.3 / HWY 3 @ KM 36. Absolutely no inbound pre-running from race mile 636.1 WEST of Ojos Negros back to the Ensenada finish!

A little reminder: To give Baja race fans the best racing information from the 2009 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 race event we went the extra mile and opened a website for that baja race webcast. THE mother of a webcast is bringing you Baja racing news from this event – all information obtained by us at the race or by means of permission and giving credits – i.e. no stolen photos and all that crap as it is out there by some fishy amateur operation the past years!
