Baja 500 Race Map 42nd Tecate Baja 500
Round 3 of the five-race 2010 SCORE Desert Series will feature nearly 300 entries, competing in 28 Pro and 6 Sportsman classes for cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs, will be held June 3-6 in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. A popular events on the SCORE schedule, with over 100,000 spectators are expected to enjoy the desert racers in action at this year’s 42nd running of the Tecate SCORE Baja 500. Below you will find the Baja 500 course map showing major differences compared to the 2009 Baja 500 at the northern loop out of Tres Hermanos to Hwy 3/KM 77 and at Llano Colorado, where course goes south towards Johnson Ranch before heading north to Cerro Solo.
The green flag will drop for the race at 6:00hr on Saturday (June 5) for the motorcycle and ATV classes in the Tecate SCORE Baja 500, followed by the car and truck classes three hours after the last ATV at approximately 10:00hr The elapsed-time race will start and finish in front of the Riviera del Pacifico Cultural Center on Boulevard Costero in the heart of Ensenada, leaving and returning into the city through the spectator-laden Arroyo Wash.
We will produce also a Google style map as soon as we receive released pre-run GPS files. You will be able to view that Baja 500 race map here.

This is a conversion from the 2010 Baja 500 course notes .pdf file and from the virtual check points (VCP’s) .pdf file for more convenient viewing broken down in separate pages. We are working to “slim down” the available GPS file to publish it online in a while here later during the day. Until then it displays the 2009 Baja 500 race map.
