Baja 300

So, we got an addition to the Baja Races terms as they are are already out there – evrybody knows: Baja 1000, Baja 500 and Baja 250 (Score San Felipe 250), this elite group of Offroad Races is now joined by the Baja 300! A little different location as usual – the Lausitz area is historical not known for Baja Desert racing activities but this will change the coming month when desert racers fire up there vehicles and give the European spectators a taste of what Baja Racing is all about. Well, at least a little… – being confined to a certain area helps at other issues – no tracking devises needed….. hehehehe . That should take some workload of the SCORE folks. It’s all go a little more as a month before “The BAJA 300 POWERDAYS“!

A a must see at the Baja 300: “YouTube clip billionaire” Ken Block totally sideways at the Baja 300 Powerdays Germany, US TV celeb and “Mr Chopper”, Jesse James, not only brings his 850 hp SCORE Trophy Truck, but will very likely be accompanied by his wife, Hollywood star Sandra Bullock. For the fans: Superstars, offroad action, paddock open for all, fan mile, race night party, camping ground.

Fasten your seat belts and hold on tight, because here they come: Jesse James, one of the US West Coast’s most colourful personalities, joins the action at the BAJA 300 POWERDAYS Germany (24/25 July). The founder and owner of the cult firm “West Coast Choppers” became famous through numerous TV productions which all focus on horsepower… lots of horsepower. Currently his new TV series featuring death defying stunts started in the US, entitled “Jesse James is a Dead Man”. For a most spectacular show at the BAJA 300 POWERDAYS Germany Jesse brings his 850+hp SCORE Trophy Truck. Jesse will back-up his fearless colleagues from the SCORE International Offroad Series B.J. Baldwin, Danny Sullivan, and Gus Vildosola.

Action driver Ken Block will reinforce the rally faction around former World Champion Petter Solberg from Norway and his colleague Gigi Galli from Italy. And there is also strong back-up for the freestyle and motocross bikers. The KTM factory team with double Dakar winner Cyril Despres and motocross freestyler Petr Pilat will be joined by the works squads of BMW Enduro and Husqvarna at the BAJA 300 POWERDAYS.
The 2,350 metre long gravel circuit in a vast natural arena features parallel tracks which are specially laid out for the 800+hp SCORE offroad monsters, the high tech World Rally Cars and the motocross bikes. Spectacular action, great engine sounds and insane sideways cornering are only part of the show. The highlight of each lap will be the crossroads where the cars and bikes launch from ramps and become airborne. The circuit is located within easy reach in Germany’s Lausitz region between the cities Berlin and Dresden.
