Stephane Peterhansel final testing Dakar 2010
One month before the start to the 2010 Dakar Team x-raid released a video of the final testing and shake-down of their race vehicles. Nine-time former Dakar winner Stéphane Peterhansel (six times on a bike and three in a car) is very pleased with the performance of the car. While the engine was the best he ever had as he states in the video was the car difficult to drive. Intensive testing and suspension set-up changed the handling of the x-raid BMW during the past tests and he like the way it is now to drive. He is convinced to have a shot at the victory of the upcoming Dakar race.
Full credits for the creation of this video go to x-raid. We publish a smaller version of the video since the original with 124mb is a pain in the #$% to watch considering the folks not having Infintum 4000 DSL to watch a stream direct from the source.. Unfortunately their stream is often slow…
