Baja 1000 course mileage notes
Baja 1000 course mileage notes listing the virtual checkpoints (VCP’s), speed zones (12), and other race information. This basically a online version of the file you could download as .pdf at SCORE Intl. Some changes up north include a new, “exaggerated loop” after turning off Hwy 3 at Km 78 and at Nuevo Junction, the course turns west and goes to Hwy 3. It does not go through Jamau or down the Goat Trail. There are 918.35 miles at speed- / race conditions and 170.84 miles in speed zones. We break the file down in 5 sections, you see the links on top and bottom of each page. Also keep in mind that SCORE emphasized to follow pre-running rules carefully.
